If you would like to use your Microsoft account to log into your Campus Suite site you can do so easily with the instructions listed below. This will allow you to log in to your school's website without having to remember yet another set of credentials.

How do I add Microsoft authentication?

  1. Log into the Campus Suite website using your account that has already been set up ahead of time. If you have forgotten your login credentials (or perhaps have never logged in yet,) you can go to the login page and use the Forgot Password link to be emailed a link that will allow you to reset your password.
  2. Once logged in, you can click your Display Name located at the top-right of the screen.
  3. When the menu appears, click My Account.
  4. On this screen, there is another menu at the top-left that says My Account - Click this, then select Manage Credentials on the menu that appears.
  5. Click the green + Register OAUTH button at the top-right.
  6. Finally, select Microsoft as the method of authentication. If you are logged into your Microsoft account already, you are presented with a dialogue that asks you to confirm your approval to connect Campus Suite and your Microsoft account. If you are not logged in, you will be sent to Microsoft to log in.

Please note that while this allows Campus Suite V3 to see the information associated with your Microsoft profile, which includes your name, gender, display picture, contacts, and friends. At no time does Campus Suite or anyone else have access to this data.

Once authorized, you will be able to login to Campus Suite via Microsoft authentication by clicking the blue Single Sign-On button to the right of the email/password fields.

How do I remove Microsoft authentication?

  1. Once logged in, click your Display Name located at the top-right of the screen.
  2. When the menu appears, click My Account.
  3. On this screen, there is another menu at the top-left that says Account - Click this, then select Manage Credentials on the menu that appears.
  4. Click on the Trash icon to the right of the authentication account that you would like to stop using.
  5. Finally click Unregister when you are asked if you are sure you want to unregister the OAuth credential for that authentication type. Please note after unregistering, you will need to use the login credentials assigned to you in Campus Suite to log in. Also if for some reason you want to use Microsoft authentication in the future you can register it again following the directions above.

Please note while the above does remove the Microsoft authentication from your account you will need to do an additional step to remove the permission to access your Microsoft profile. While logged into your Microsoft account go to Apps and Services that you have given access to and click on Edit under the Campus Suite V3 account. On the following screen click Remove these permissions.

Once the authentication has been removed, you will be able to login to Campus Suite using your email and the password that was assigned to you. If you have forgotten your login credentials (or perhaps have never logged in yet,) you can go to the login page and use the Forgot Password link to be emailed a link that will allow you to reset your password.
