This widget is usually used in the website theme pages. Higher-level designers will use it in the inner and outer templates that govern the website to specify where publishers will be dropping editable regions. Typical publishers will rarely use it.
How do I add this widget to a page?
- Click Edit Page
- Click either + Content or the Settings icon (down-facing arrow) which will be located to the right of Edit where you will need to select either Insert before or Insert after
- Choose the Block widget
- Select the Block Type by default it will be Basic Div. Other options available are Fixed Width and Full Width.
- When you are finished, click on the green Create button and your Block widget will show up on the page.
- Make sure to click either the Publish or the Save Draft option just as you would when you're editing pages.
Note: Block widgets should not be used within another container, row or column. We suggest adding the row widget to a Block widget once placed. Click Container to add a custom class to your Div or Section.
